I do these puzzles partly as a way to recommend books I like. Often, the books I’d like to feature have first lines which are too short (one word!) or too long (almost a paragraph, eek). I also don’t tend to use sentences that are filled with proper names, as I think that would make the flow of the rebus sentence harder to guess/work with for the reader. This week’s rebus has one proper name, and it is an unusual one, but the rebus maker got it just right and the pictogram(?) for it is not hard. Answer Thursday as always.
